What are the different types of differentiated instruction in the classroom?
Differentiated instruction responds to individual student needs by adjusting teaching. Tools include varied materials, flexible groups, individualized teaching, differentiated assessment, educational technology, visual/auditory aids, tutoring/mentoring, time adaptations and open communication. Preschool examples: themed learning centers, varied sensory materials, differentiated workshops.
